Currently our cars take part in 3 classes:

SUPER GAS

Definition

The letter symbol is S/G followed by the competition number.This group is designated for cars with closed bodies, complete mudguards, hood, radiator grill, roof, windscreen and functioning doors. The assembly of the bumpers is optional. The radiator grill may be replaced by sheet metal. Left-hand drive roadsters are allowed. Altereds with freestanding wheels, dragsters, funny cars or motorbikes are not allowed in this class. The minimum weight, incl. driver, is 952kg for 8cyl cars, 748kg for 6cyl cars and 544kg for 4cyl cars.

SUPER COMP

Definition

The letter symbol is S/C followed by the competition number.This group is designated for dragsters, altereds (type 1 and 2) and funny cars. Motorbikes aren't allowed in this class. The minimum weight, incl. driver, is 612kg for 8cyl cars and 454kg for 4 and 6cyl cars.

PRO MODIFIED

Definition

The letter symbol is PM followed by the competition number. This group is designated for full body cars with supercharger and methanol fuel as well as Petrol- or nitro-oxide-fuels with injection. All installations must be self-triggering and equipped with "onboard"-starters.

Pro Modifieds are separated into different classes:

  • Vehicles with petrol-, nitro-oxide- or methanol fuel injection:
    Max 740 cui at a minimum weight of 1077.3kg.
  • Vehicles with supercharger and methanol fuel:
    Max 527 cui at a minimum weight of 1224.4kg.

Generally the following are required:

  • A brake parachute for all cars with a top speed of 240km/h or more.
  • A rollcage.
  • At least a 5-point seatbelt-system.
  • Every driver has to wear a helmet, a neck guard, racing suit and gloves.
